The Wine Advocate:

The eponymous 2018 Demencia could be considered a village wine from Villafranca del Bierzo and was produced with grapes from old, organically farmed but not certified vineyards. This has a lovely rusticity, with a mixture of floral and herbal aromas, an earthy touch and plenty of character, recognizable as Demencia but with more freshness and elegance than previous vintages. It has 13.6% alcohol and very good acidity, coming through as balanced and with abundant fine-grained tannins and pungent flavors in the finish. 1,998 bottles were filled in August 2020.
