Valdelara 2022

Three old-vine parcels in cool Villalbilla de Gumiel, located at 900 metres and picked late, even in the hot 2022 vintage, are the source of this superb wine from José Jiménez-Landi. Entirely whole bunch fermented, it's wonderfully ethereal, spicy and perfumed, all clove and tobacco leaf, supported by  plum and red berry flavours, earthy complexity and a hint of oak from larger new barrels. 2025-32.
