Dunnuck:

ased on 64% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2024 Château Mangot reveals black raspberries, spring flowers, and beautifully integrated oak. Medium-bodied on the palate, it offers purity and balance, with an elegant texture and fine tannins.

Suckling:

Very good depth from this vintage, showing berries, minerals and a hint of cocoa powder and white pepper. Juicy and medium- to full-bodied with taut, quality tannins and a linear finish.

Vinous:

The 2024 Mangot feels a little introverted on the nose, only gradually unfurling with light minty red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, decent mid-palate concentration and gentle grip on the lightly spiced finish. This has a bit more length than its peers and should age well in bottle. Neal Martin.

The Wine Advocate:

Aromas of cherries, minty berries and rose petals introduce the lovely 2024 Château Mangot, a blend of 64% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Franc and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon that was cropped at 41 hectoliters per hectare in biodynamic viticulture, a notably impressive achievement. Medium-bodied, succulent and seamless, it's a lively, fleshy wine that attained 13.3% natural alcohol, rewarding the gamble of waiting to pick at full maturity.

Falstaff:

Dark ruby, deep core, purple reflections, brightening at the edge. Delicately smoky, black cherries with herbs and spices, a hint of cranberries, hints of fine oak and vanilla. Juicy, ripe red cherries, tight-knit, freshly structured, a lively food wine with a red berryish and lemony finish.
