L'avis des experts

James Suckling:

Juicy, showing orange peel and sesame seeds with red-berry character. Medium-bodied, it has crunchy fruit and a clean finish. Pure merlot.

Falstaff:

Deep dark ruby colour, deep core, purple reflections, brightening on the rim. Fine wood savouriness, dark berry fruit, black cherries, mineral touch. Complex, ripe cherries, vivid, ripe tannins, a hint of caramel on the finish, lingers long, a versatile food wine, salty aftertaste.

Tim Atkin:

Violets and bright red fruit aromas. Very fresh acidity and bright red fruit. This is in the lighter style, which suits this vintage so well, with supple tannins and fresh sappy acidity. Should be approachable in relative youth. A strong showing from the Denis Durantou stable this year.
