Gran Caus Rosado 2023

The dark rosé 2023 Gran Caus Rosat could very well be a paler red, because it's not much lighter than the red Sumoll. The last few years were very difficult for the Merlot variety, and the difficulty of the grapes to ripen in the dry conditions of the year could have been an advantage in keeping the crunchy character they are aiming for in this wine. It's serious and kept very high acidity, and the result is a finer and more direct rosé with a medium-bodied palate with vibrant sensations, focused and clean flavors and a dry, serious and chalky feeling. 12,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2024.
